What To Expect At Your In-Home Newborn Session With Siblings:
When there are siblings involved in a newborn session, I always prep my families to plan for some chaos. Most times, baby is so new, that the siblings are still adjusting to having a new baby around. So they may be shy, or even protective of the baby or their parents. So I typically let the siblings hang out in the beginning, or I only pay attention to the siblings to get them to warm up a little bit. I also have the siblings take some photos with a parent first, to have them be with someone familiar before we add baby into the mix.
Eventually, they usually want to participate and play with baby and we get some great shots!
