Connecticut family photographer based out of hartford county but servicing all of connecticut. and parts of massachusetts, rhode island, and others parts of new england. motherhood is really one of my most favorite things to photograph. that includes maternity, newborn, children, and families. my family sessions are play-based. they tell a story of who your family is at this exact moment in time. we run, have tickle parties, and give eskimo kisses. we fly babies in the air and play ring around the rosie. in my sessions, you come prepared to simply enjoy being with your family for the night, while allowing me to document it all.
When I found out I was pregnant, I looked at almost every photographer in Connecticut trying to find someone with beautiful pictures and whose prices were reasonable. Alyssa’s pictures stood out above all the rest.
My husband isn’t a fan of taking pictures, but even he didn’t mind our session with Alyssa since she’s so quick, efficient, and makes you feel completely at ease. She tells you exactly where to stand and pays attention to every little detail — from your hair to your outfit — the things you’d notice and care about in your final photos.
Her photos always turn out stunning. They’re so clear, bright, and clean, and she has such a gift for capturing natural, candid moments. Every time we get our gallery back, we are amazed! We will treasure these pictures forever!
Her mini sessions are our absolute favorite! They’re so quick and easy (which is perfect with a baby), but somehow she still manages to give you too many incredible photos to choose from — honestly, that’s the hardest part!
We’ll definitely continue using her for all of our family photos. I can’t recommend her enough! ♥️
