The most important shots in a session. What are they? My opinion? They are the in-between shots. Even after I have told my clients, "hey we're done with this pose", I continue shooting. Why? Because it's usually when clients are most relaxed. Most themselves. When mama gives baby a kiss on the forehead for doing so good, or say, in this case, when senior lets his guard down a little and I make him laugh. Those moments in between shots are when the magic happens. In family sessions, I really don't like to ever even put my camera down unless we're walking from spot to spot. I tell them I'm done with that specific pose, and then I keep shooting. Try it sometime!
